Family Portraits on the Beach

San Pedro, California
I was excited when Cicely called me about photographing her family. I shot Cicely and Robert's wedding the year before and it was fun to see their family again. We decided on taking the portraits on the beach.

After the beach we went up to the park area for a few more photos.

Thank you for a fun portrait session! We'll start out with the monkey next time. For those of you that don't know the monkey (a Polka Photos exclusive), ask me about it at your next portrait session. It's guaranteed to make you smile.

Congratulations Claudia & Tony!

San Pedro, California
I feel so lucky to have met Claudia and Tony. They are both so warm and kind. We saw each other a few times before the wedding so when their big day came it was more like shooting a friend's wedding.

Photos are very important to this couple. I shot their newlywed portraits in the time between the ceremony and reception. We were running a little bit behind and I mentioned to Tony that I had a few more quick ideas but I didn't want them to be late. Tony gave me the answer that photographers dream of... He said that the photos are really important to Claudia and that he wants to make his wife happy. And with that he gave me the go ahead to keep shooting.

Here's one of those photos.

The photos session turned into a real cliffhanger... Stay tuned for more photos!

Sunset Beach

Redondo Beach & San Pedro, California
I'm finishing up Claudia and Tony's engagement photos. We started out at the very end of Redondo Beach. Aren't they romantic? And super sexy, too!

I wanted to give some of the photos a more vintage look. What do you think?

After the beach photos, we drove down to San Pedro for some photos on the rocks.

The sun set too quickly - took one last sunset photo with the help of super assistant Rebecca who held up the light.

Thank you Tony and Claudia for a super fun time. I can't wait for your wedding!

And thank you again to the lovely Rebecca for assisting.

Three's Company

San Pedro, California
Yesterday I photographed the beautiful Claudia and Tony, who are just the sweetest couple. Not only that, but they were up for an adventurous engagement session so we went climbing out on the rocks for some shots. Here's a quick photo of them in action along with the wonderful Rebecca who did an amazing job assisting on the shoot. Thank you all for a wonderful day!!! I'll post more photos soon!
